The Outreach Program Manager leads and manages the organization’s statewide outreach efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and strengthening relationships with members and key external partners. This role balances program leadership, staff management, analytics, and event representation. The Manager will oversee outreach operations while maintaining a strong strategic presence at select events and stakeholder engagements.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field
- At least 7 years of experience in pension benefits, public relations, employee benefits, finance, or a related sector
- 5+ years of management or supervisory experience
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Excellent writing skills; ability to produce clear and visually compelling reports
- Demonstrated success in networking and relationship management
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to large groups
- Experience preparing and reviewing media content (social media, podcasts, video, publications)
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and KPI reporting
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel frequently throughout Georgia, including overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of retirement‑related benefits experience
- Knowledge of TRSGA pension plan
- Experience with proofreading and editorial reviews
- Graphic design or AI‑based content creation experience
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the Outreach Program and manage all outreach staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation
- Establish annual goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews and annual evaluations
- Participate in benefit fairs, seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Coordinate hiring, staffing assignments, disciplinary actions, and staff development
- Plan and attend weekend seminars, coordinate speakers, secure venues, and manage related logistics
- Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to align messaging, outreach materials, and campaigns
Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare monthly travel authorization reports
- Analyze KPIs and produce actionable reports using advanced Excel
- Support operations including logistics, reporting tools, and outreach administration systems
- Review social media copy, outreach marketing emails, and publications for accuracy and alignment
- Assist with performance dashboards and strategic reporting
- Coordinate invoicing with associations and vendors
Event Oversight & Representation
- Strengthen relationships with retiree and professional associations (GAE‑R, GREA, GAEL, etc.)
- Plan and manage high‑impact outreach events
- Serve as a primary presenter at strategic events
- Shadow outreach staff to ensure quality and consistency
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Public administration and management principles
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to set performance standards and manage priorities

- Professional office setting + field work at events
