TRS Awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA)

The Teachers Retirement System of Georgia is pleased to announce that the annual comprehensive report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021, received the GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. As stated by the GFOA, “The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.” TRS is honored to receive this award.
