Non-Covered Positions

Non-covered positions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintenance employees
• Custodial employees
• School bus drivers
• Cafeteria workers
• Substitute teachers
• Temporary employees

Temporary employees are defined as:

• Any employee whose term of employment does not exceed 3 months in any fiscal year
• Student Assistants
• Graduate Assistants
• Graduate Research Assistants
• Graduate Teaching Assistants
• Visiting professors and other professional employees appointed for a term of one year or less
