Please consider doing the following:
- Login to your account and generate benefit estimates for your various retirement scenarios, and look at your most recent annual member statement where a projected retirement benefit is presented to you.
- Consider attending a pre-retirement counseling event near you. Check the Events section of the website to find a session convenient to you.
- Login to your account and sign up for a retirement counseling appointment at our office if that is convenient for you.
- Be prepared to submit your retirement application as early as six months prior to your date of retirement to ensure all your paperwork is completed, and your account is audited to ensure your service credit and salary information is correct. Shortly after you submit your application for retirement, you will receive a carefully prepared final retirement benefit estimate from us, so you can begin making plans for a happy retirement!
